Appointment of Josja van Isterdael as COO of CNC Grondstoffen BV, as Marcel van den Hurk Decides to Move On

Last December, Marcel van den Hurk decided to continue his career at Banken Champignon in Wijchen,
where he will take up the post of Operations Director.
We are also pleased to announce that Josja van Isterdael will join CNC Grondstoffen BV as Chief Operating Officer (COO) on 23 March 2026.
Last December, Marcel van den Hurk decided to continue his career at Banken Champignon in Wijchen, where he will take up
the role of Operations Director and join the Banken management team alongside Jurgen and Rob Banken from 1 March 2026.
Although we regret his departure, this is a wonderful opportunity for Marcel to help shape the future
of one of the most successful companies in our supply chain and sector.
We are pleased to announce that Josja van Isterdael will take up the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at CNC Grondstoffen BV on 23 March 2026.
Josja brings extensive and in-depth experience in leading complex production and supply chain organisations within the food and raw materials sector. He combines strong operational expertise with a people-oriented leadership style and a keen eye for process discipline, cost control and performance improvement.
In recent years, Josja has worked at Hessing Supervers, where he has held various senior roles, including Site Manager, Transition Manager and, most recently, Business Project Manager.
Prior to joining Hessing, Josja held various senior operational and executive roles at companies including Vandemoortele, Dedert IJs,
Nature’s Pride, De Banketgroep and Royal Peijnenburg / Lotus Bakeries.
We wish Josja every success as he takes on this new role and look forward to continuing to build a strong and future-proof CNC Grondstoffen
organisation together.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Marcel for everything he has achieved over the past 12 months alongside
his operations management team, and we wish him every success in his new role at Banken.
