Our Spawnable Compost is the perfect solution for growers who require a pasteurized, conditioned substrate ready for inoculation.
While ideal for standard cultivation, it is particularly valued by growers of specialty species – such as Horse Mushrooms (Agaricus arvensis) or Wood Blewits (Lepista nuda) – who wish to apply their own specific spawn strains.
Product Specifications
Produced on the Basis of IVC® at our Milsbeek, Moerdijk and our Polish facilities, this compost undergoes the same rigorous Phase I fermentation as our premium products.
It is then pasteurized and conditioned in our tunnels (Phase II) to eliminate competitors and create a selective environment.

Hygiene First
Our trailers are dedicated exclusively to mushroom compost.
They undergo rigorous CIP (Clean-In-Place) steam cleaning between loads to ensure the compost remains free of unwanted moulds or bacteria.
The “Walking Floor” Standard
We utilize a dedicated fleet of sealed, temperature-controlled trucks equipped with Walking Floor technology.
Thermal Stability
Our trailers are insulated to maintain the “cool-down” temperature of the compost during transit, preventing thermal shock before filling.
Delivery Options
- Bulk with JFC (Joint Filling & Cover)
For large-scale operations, we can deliver and fill your rooms using our specialized filling machines.
This allows for simultaneous filling, spawning (if desired), and covering, maximizing speed and reducing exposure time. - Blocks
Spawnable compost can also be pressed and supplied in blocks for easier handling or export. - Availability
Deliveries can be scheduled on any weekday (Monday – Friday). - Minimum Volume
